Summary of the Position:
As a Key Account Manager at Miba Industrial Bearings US, you'll be the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth by forging strong customer relationships and delivering innovative engineered solutions.
The Key Account Manager will report to the Sales Director, and the position will be based in Grafton, WI, about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, WI.

This is an important position to support the growth strategy and execution of Miba Industrial Bearings. Primary Duties:
  • Cultivate strong, multi-level relationships with key customer stakeholders, including management, procurement, and engineering, to advance Miba’s value proposition and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement strategic goals and account plans focused on revenue growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of customer orders, technical requests, delivery schedules, and resolution of commercial issues by collaborating with internal teams (customer service, engineering, supply chain).
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and screen prospects that align with company strategy, managing them through all stages from pre-sales to negotiation and support.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market drivers, industry trends, competitor activities, and customer strategies to inform account tactics and pricing strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across internal teams (operations, engineering, marketing) to deliver customer-focused solutions and foster an outside-in perspective within the organization.
  • Coordinate with engineering to develop conceptual solutions and lead the presentation of proposals to customer stakeholders.
  • Implement appropriate pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize value for both Miba and its customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date account plans, sales forecasts, and performance reports; provide regular updates to management.
  • Provide input to marketing initiatives to increase Miba’s brand recognition and visibility in target markets.
  • Actively support and promote Miba’s corporate vision and values in all interactions.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in technical sales.  Experience with sales in turbo-machinery applications, rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.) or fluid film bearings is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain long term customer relationships
  • Confident and technically astute self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage a consultative sales process
  • Must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and develop collaboration among cross-functional teams
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite & AI capabilities
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
