Here at Miba Industrial Bearings, we are a low volume, high precision global manufacturer of hydrodynamic bearings that keeps the powered-world spinning. As an OEM  manufacturer for the global market, we have an ever-growing customer base and order-intake. This is driving us further into expansion, so we are seeking a number of talented CNC machinists to fill both 1st and 3rd shift positions. We are looking for both CNC lathe and mill machinists, with a plus having experience in both. 

*$2,000 Sign-on bonus for 1st shift

*$4,000 Sign-on bonus for 3rd shift

Job Summary
We have a variety of CNC machines: From small 2-axis lathes to large 5 axis mills and everything in-between. Skilled CNC machinists will be responsible for complex setups and blueprint/G&M code interpretation to manufacture tight tolerance components for bearing assemblies ranging 2 lbs, all the way to 5,000 lbs. We are looking for those with great attitudes that are ready to contribute their skills to our company and help us grow!

Required Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety in all machining and shop activities.
  • Work independently on a dedicated work center, but be flexible to learn new machines/controls and collaborate as part of a team as needed.
  • Set up and operate one or more of the following machines:  CNC vertical lathes, CNC horizontal lathes, CNC vertical mills, and CNC horizontal mills; all with the ability to hold tolerances as close as .0005”
  • Proficient in CNC programming language to both operate machines and execute minor G&M code program edits.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and verify quality, using precision measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions and complete in‑process inspection documentation.
